There are many sellers from 1.35 to 1.38, the stock price must cross 1.38 convincingly in order to stay bullish. The last quarter result was good.
Thank you.

Despite the company's prospects, I have sold my shares already. To be blacklisted like that, and being only 1 of 5 companies blacklisted is bad news. Not child labour but on the basis of severe damage to the environment. This also means that their business model is not sustainable in the long run, i.e. depletion of natural resources due to lack of proper planning and controls.

This news would not affect the company at all. The western country like to ban this and that on 'ethical ground' or what not, just like palm oil industry. No surprise.

WTK and TA ANN were excluded because they are timber related, not because of child labour.

Norway's government has told its $790 billion oil fund to sell holdings in five companies because of environmental concerns and placed several others - including Shell and Eni - on its observation list, the finance ministry said on Monday.

The fund, the world's largest sovereign wealth fund, is barred from investing in WTK Holdings Berhad, Ta Ann Holdings Berhad, Zijin Mining Group and Volcan Compania Minera because their activities pose a “risk of severe environmental damage,” it said in a statement.

Firstly, we have to ask how many shares Norway government has in WTK. If insignificant, who care.

im a child labour myself, used to work during school holidays even when i'm just a primary school kid for pocket money to buy my school uniform and books, it is easy for rich country to condemn child labour while they have a full stomach everyday...

"Norway has excluded five companies from the investments of the nation’s sovereign wealth fund, the world’s largest, for taking part in activities that damage the environment OR for being linked to child labour, Bloomberg reported."

Local timber firms WTK Holdings Bhd and Ta Ann Holdings Bhd were excluded alongside China’s Zijin Mining Group and Peru’s Volcan Cia Minera SAA.

This was done on the basis that their activities risk causing severe damage to the environment, Bloomberg said citing a statement by the Oslo-based ministry.

India’s Zuari Agro Chemicals Ltd was also excluded “based on an assessment of the risk of contributing to the worst forms of child labour,” it said.

From these writing, WTK TAANN - their activities risk causing severe damage to the environment
Zuari Agro - contributing to child labour.

Lets see how WTK respond. If they are hiring child labour, they can be sued under our own labour law.

Based on AR 2012, Norway fund is not listed as top 30 shareholdings. I believe their investment is insignificant as WTK market cap is not large enuf to be invested by any of these large foreign funds.

"insignificant" in this case is immaterial, the fact still remain , ie using child labour to prosperous !!

where in the news you are not clear? WTK problem is "their activities risk causing severe damage to the environment" and it has nothing to do with child labour

There are so many sellers wanted to sell at 1.35 to 1.38, hence the price is very difficult to move until these sellers are absorbed.
I am very disappointed with its performance even it is the best stock recommended in timber sector.
