simple rock bottom EPS derivation for HY going forward:

Diesel & Jet Fuel combined yield (46% Diesel + 7% Jet Fuel) of 53 %,
lets conservatively use: 50%

Diesel & Jet Fuel crack assumed averages going forward 30 USD/brl (not difficult considering it had averaged 43 USD/brl last 6 months)

Gross margin from Diesel & Jet Fuel alone:

= (10.5 million barrels/qtr x 50% yield) x (30 USD/brl) x (MYR 4.50/USD)
= 708 million MYR ....

PBT = 628 million
PAT = 477 million
EPS = 1.59
..........

The above is assuming zero contribution from Gasoline which they had hedged at least 18 million barrels at about 10 USD/brl (good for 4 quarters output, i.e at 3.6 million barrels gasoline per qtr at 35% yield).

This is the advantage HY has over other refineries like Petron while having almost zero output of Fuel Oil as a complex refinery (Fuel oil is at negative 31 USD/brl crack spread)

Malaysiakini’s visit to Sungai Buloh showed that many Pakatan Harapan supporters are “having a dilemma” as they support PKR president Anwar Ibrahim as their prime minister’s candidate but don’t like to see Khairy lose.

Some even explained that they have become pickier to vote and that they might vote based on “personality instead of along party lines” on polling day.

HRC Q2 other receivables and prepayment RM 1,675,720,000 most likely are Prepayment for the refining margin swap contracts hedging which on Q2 end Marked to market outstanding refining swap contracts Notional amt USD 225,945,000. Assets: RM 261,065,000 and liabilities RM (1,751,332,000)

If in Q3 this marked to market outstanding mogas92 swap contracts turn from liabilities to assets then it will free out the prepayment RM 1,675,720,000 and add into positive cash-flow.

I don't know what KJ stands for.
I'd say the majority of people don't know what KJ stands for.
Does even KJ know what he stands for? If so, please tell us.

Apart from mouthing what he thinks people want to hear, what has he done in all the years he's been an UMNO member and Cabinet Minister to rid his beloved party of all their corruption issues and to drive for "accountability and integrity in UMNO" (his words)?

Has he made any statements in the past about 1MDB, which came to light in 2015, seven years ago.
Has he made any statements on ANY of the questionable financial issues while being in the inner sactum of the Cabinet?

I'll give him credit for creating this persona of a modern thinking and innovative polititian but it appears to be only that....a persona.
For someone that said a few months ago that UMNO should keep the door open to talks about working with PAS, I would very much doubt that supposed modern thinking persona.

I simply don't buy his propaganda.

So the prepayment is like margin call you need to top up if your outstanding refining swap contracts liabilities amt increase.
