Good news to everyone in Jaya Tiasa forum. I just made a phone call to Its company secretary Madam Ngu and requested her to suggest to the Board of Directors to declare dividends this year. She said she can't make suggestions but will relay my message to the Board. Hopefully Jaya Tiasa can declare dividends this year or some other time. This is not a promise but a good hope. So thanks to the company secretary Madam Ngu once again in our forum. Everyone has a happy day.

I prefer them to do share buy back or par down debt with the money instead of dividend distribution, dividend distribution just follow by share price drops.

with debt down, even the cycle ends, the company will have handsome cash flow and profit.

If the stock price is undervalue, just buy back as much as possible.

Happy morning

Palm oil and lumber are cash crops
Since boom time is returning surplus cash for others might be used for further expansion. However, for palm oil no further conversion of forest land to palm oil is allowed.
As such the only way to expand is to buy brown field palm oil lands from existing players but now too expensive.
So better return some cash to shareholders

Even war were to be over, I hope Iceland will continue to make use of palm oil as its major edible oil even though Iceland is a country with a small population. It will have a spill over effect and set a good example for other European countries to follow if Iceland were to do so.
