So many of us here might be disappointed with this counter, hopes smashed, money lost. But the most maybe just be about 30 % even if u entered at above RM 1. Just think of the thousands who lost everything in the recent floods : years of hard earned car, furniture etc etc and with suffering seeing no end yet !!!
So u r still the lucky lot, folks. U still have much hope in 2022 with dnex !! Cheer up and Happy New Year !

Exactly. Dnex has both semi-conductor and oil and gas, two major goreng themes but too bad with the pp overhang, can't move at all

Posted by derrickinvestor > 2021-12-31 18:27 | Report Abuse

how to move when strategist keep selling behind..lol

How profitable is TSMC?
The company said gross margin (net sales minus cost of goods sold) increased 1.3% from the previous quarter to 51.3%, while operating margin came in at 41.2%, with a net profit margin of 37.7%. TSMC said 5nm shipments were responsible for 18% of total wafer revenue, while 7nm chip orders accounted for 34%

30% / 35% profit margin is the main key..

not comparing both in term of price.. we are comparing in term of profit vs revenue ratio.. if silterra wants to do well, it needs a healthy ratio.. that's how investors from the globe will invest in silterra.. if you just want kampung jaguh invest then.. gg.com

Hahaha.....my toes are so tickled with laughter...

Is Silterra a 7nm or 8nm chip foundry?

How much is the cost of a nanochip foundry?

Investors from worldwide?

When you see such questions and comparison, you know how stoooooopid these people are.

7nm and 8nm chip foundry needs more high end equipment = higher cost.. higher gross margin too
silterra lower end chip foundry needs lower end equipment = lower cost.. lower gross margin too.

all in all.. it should be on par.. just by comparing other mediatek.. ilitek and etc etc.. 30-40% gross margin is acceptable and doable.. trevor.. cry more.

From Trevor’s comments, able to see how shallow his understanding is in the semicon industry.

His frog mind says Silterra does not produce7nm and 8nm chip

So? Silterra’s 200mm chip ASP is rising every week with lead time hitting 52 weeks.

Chip shortage is on 200mm wafer and above, not 7nm.

He should stick to his job in washing toilet

ILI Tech Corp = Ilitek which is owned by MediaTek.

MediaTek lift forecast by 40% means Ilitek will benefit which will flow through to Silterra

Never before has any IB gives such detailed and optimistic assessment for Dnex as what HLB does today ---refer to the comment opposite this forum. It is surely a very good sign to start a new year for this much loved and hated counter !!

Hahaha....movie stars like Alan Tam should stick to singing and films.

His first posting promoting Silterra as an EV manufacturer to partner with Fox...? Brainless.

Now he is sure Silterra is a 7nm chip foundry?

The ASP for all chips across the board has been rising, did he blinked?

Better ignore such kids without showing any interest other than to instigate a fight.

Ignore, and that might push him over the edge.

To shrink the nm (pn channel width), it takes billions to upgrade the equipment. For chip shortage, it is seen across a lots of channel size. 200nm is considered very low tech.

Intel stayed in 14nm for too long and just migrated to 10nm. TSMC is mass producing 7nm chips for AMD and Apple maybe for 3 years already. 5nm is coming end of this year.

Anybody knows?
PP to TSMC or FOXCONN?
DNEX lacks $$ (by the billions) and the expertise to push the company to a new height.
Anyone of the above-mentioned chip giant looped into DNEX will help tremendously.
