YTL to partner CRRC to bid upcoming HSR. CRRC is the world's largest supplier of rail transit equipment with the most complete product lines and leading technologies. Its main businesses cover the R&D, design, manufacture, repair, sale, lease and technical services for rolling stock, urban rail transit vehicles, engineering machinery, all types of electrical equipment, electronic equipment and parts, electric products and environmental protection equipment, as well as consulting services, industrial investment and management, asset management, and import and export.
YTL already partner CRRC in MRT3 rail system. This systems turnkey package, which includes signalling, electric train and depot equipment, power supply and communication systems, is expected to be worth RM7bn-10bn. These MRT3 system work is on top of YTL lowest bid in MRT3 CMC302 civil work package worth RM 10.8 billion
These 2 day is mid year closing, which is time period for institutional fund manager to actively readjust their stock portfolio. For YTL and YTLP, window dressing may happening now to challenger previous high level
At the meeting, YTL team was also reported to have said that core assets, such as Malayan Cement Bhd, including the Vietnam venture, core land bank in Sentul of 165 acres, Power Seraya and Wessex Water are not for sale....but, may unlock through IPO
YTL dividend 9.5sen is conservative target as it need to reserve cash in preparation to bid HSR, which is entirely private funded in exchange for long term concession
If they increase last yr's dividend, I still have enough shares to receive a few hundred =) We know you are a siasuay monkey, pang72...no need to announce LoL!!! 'Nuff said!
Hehe...not so sad anymore that I cashed out 2/3 of my 6-year stake in YTL...Compounding my joy 2day is my 2 month old stake in Great Eastern Hlgs in S'pore went above my entry of S$17.51...AFTER already collecting a 55c dividend HAHA...
Thank you very much to hng33, dragon328 and xiaochen for the positive input for shareholders to sail through rough water. Today itself, my portfolio of YTL, YTLPOWR and MCEMENT is very positive.
By the way the 2.5 sen dividend from YTLPOWR is still not credited into my bank account. The announcement said the payment of the dividend is on 28 June 2023. How about you all?
In i3 many conmen who seem to never lose money and the statement is I sold and it is always the right timing. Some people have the humility to admit their mistakes which is more commendable than roadside snake oil salesman. LOL
