Just because the stock price drop, does not mean the company will die.

If the price drop to 0.01 sen tmr for some reason, TM will still be around 5 years from now.

If you are really so stupid to even consider that possibility just because the price went down, you should leave the market and put money in FD.

WASHINGTON (June 27): U.S. President Donald Trump said on Wednesday that he will use a strengthened security review process to deal with threats from Chinese investments to acquire U.S. technologies, instead of imposing China-specific restrictions.

The Treasury Department has recommended that Trump use the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS), whose authority would be enhanced by new legislation in Congress, to control transactions. The legislation expands the scope of deals reviewed by the interagency panel to effectively address national security concerns.

"I have concluded that such legislation will provide additional tools to combat the predatory investment practices that threaten our critical technology leadership, national security, and future economic prosperity," Trump said in a statement.

He added that upon final passage of the Foreign Investment Risk Review Modernization Act, he will direct his administration "to implement it promptly and enforce it rigorously, with a view toward addressing the concerns regarding state-directed investment in critical technologies."

If Congress fails to pass the legislation quickly, Trump said he would direct the administration to implement new restrictions under executive authority that could be applied globally.

TM still the best till now compare to maxis, digi, yes, u-mobile or any other internet provider company,cause these prepaid and postpaid are weak in certain area, sometime no bar signal at all.. plus using hard line u get unlimited online data ..

tm to merge with axiata?? how to negotiate if at this current cheap price ? maybe got hidden agenda to sale GLC (Tm) at cheapo price tag eh?.. hemm...kroni ph working behind the curtain to hold stake at glc err?..

coz I wonder why khazanah, pnb silent and play dumb stupid to let the price of tm humiliated to this extend?? usually, price drop 20-30%, immediately the top mgmt got red notice from majority stakeholder...

everybody from the top tm management, khazanah, pnb and epf seems no worries when price already $3.01 ...

The few notable lowest point for TM was during 1998, when the price was RM1.9 ... then in 2008 1.5 .... That was both during the financial crisis and US Lehman Brothers... Fast forward to 2014 ... the price has increase instead to RM7.2....Now, the only crisis is change in government and the potential trade wars with China-Us... But are we in a crisis? RM2.5 to RM3 is a no brainer price. TM cant fall lower than that since even the worst of worst crisis during 1998 and 2008.. TM also around RM1.9 the most... Imagine how much it has grown from then.

TM is the only Telco that have all the infra compared others and they have everything from house phone to office data service until package voice network also they are the first internet provider. The others Telco also need TM for their APCN submarine cable his own part of it compared others just renting yearly. TM is back bone telecumnication for Malaysia that's the truth while the other operator depending on TM infra no doubt, to be honest TM still the best ISP compared others for their services network even their Fibre Opitical infra among the best security and proper compared the others telco network that I ever works with. I still support TM...buy buy now

Is this real? If it is, it is good for TM. TM can hive off GreenPacket which is bleeding red ink. It will become the most powerful telco with dominant fixed line business and mobile business. It can afford to lower broadband rates.
