Fabien, I wrote for you in summary here.

TA company itself mainly involve in 2 important segments, Brokerage and share Investment. Year 2017, Investment is the main contributor (contribute 8x compare to previous years). TA invest share in 5 countries, (FBMKLCI, Dow, Hangseng, FTSE 100 and EORU Stoxx 50) . All of these country index up except EURO Stoxx 50 during 1Oct~31Dec. The table there show the index, gain and percentage of gain.

Most of us feel disappointed of TA due to TA share price and dividend paid out. But year 2017 will be different from previous years because TA investment segment earn a lot, even more than Tagb. This never happened before. (See table)

Tagb disposed a piece of land and make RM231mil profit after Tax. TA own 60% of Tagb, hence TA indirectly make RM 138mil or EPS = 8 sen on Q1 2018. Others additional contributions in 2018 will be 3 penthouse (RM100m) & Avito Suites from Tagb.

Once we know the dividend policy, dividend amount can be roughly calculated. (Table)
TA company + Tagb = 5.3 ~ 9.2 sen dividend

Don't like TA? 后劲无力 / 即将调整？Can sell all your holding. 0.68 is a good price maa..... Rather wasting time in this counter and wasting time here. Put your time and money in others counter can let you make more money. Don't like TA but still holding it and wasting time here might be something wrong with you.

One day, if i sell TA, I won't waste time here anymore. Better allocate my time and money in others counter.

my view is that mr.market still perceive TA as securities firm. Share price is highly correlated with KLCI performance.

but TA business has grown beyond that. earnings from broker are no longer their main. apart from properties, they have stable earnings from hotel segment.

1. Bullish market sentiment - Benefit TA securities.
2. All the hotels refurbishment completed last year. - Increase hotels occupacy rate.
3. New added Trump International hotel in vancouver last year. - additional 1 more recurring income.
4. TA3 & TA4 is going to launch 2nd half of this year - Net increase will increase.
5. TA Securities Holdings Bhd is likely to be part of the next significant merger and acquisition (M&A) - the only standalone broker.
6. Low PE ratio & high dividend yield at current price.

Tell me why need to sell? Just because of trying to predict the share price will drop?
No one can predict the market, we just buy based on the facts.

TA owns 60% of TAGB --> TAGB sell land earn $$, indirectly also benefit TA

TAGB Hotel and Property biz contribute a lot profit to TA. TA no longer just rely on broker biz.

Both TA & TAGB are on the similar uptrend now and trying to break previous high :p
