Ppl don’t understand investment like U, will promote gold papers from public bank n Maybank ... The buying price n selling price difference about 7% unless u guys have confidence the gold will up more than 20% in near future to make gains... Most ppl in more advanced countries buying gold coins or gold ETF fund or mining companies but Malaysia doesn’t have profitable gold mining companies yet...

Market today has no clear direction. On Poh Kong is obvious gold futures is down at the moment. Expect Gold Futures to bounce back afternoon during Euro market.

Knowing this company's business, it will drop back to its previous price of 40 sen or so.

Why? Because though its profits maybe high, its free cash flow can only support the price of 40 sen or thereabout. This has been the case for many years already.

For Poh Kong n Tomei , their fundamental is much more solid than speculative counters like Nice/ niche n Bahvest.... Yesterday Poh Kong bounced back to 1.10-1.13 n Tomei gone up to 1.18-1.22 then today after 3:00 pm , both counters n much smaller Nice also no momentum n profit taking , Poh Kong back to 94-95 level ... World gold price should be stable at USD1890-2000 for short term ... Those bought Poh Kong at 1.40 n above have been under pressure n believe many have sold all or 1/2 during the sharp correction from 1.35-1.40 to 96-98 cents then 77-79 cents yesterday morning .... Below RM1 not really expensive n dangerous zone, every one got own view for fair price n target price...

Muiproperty is even more volatile n harder to speculate/ invest than other gold related counters... Mui from peak of 50-52 cents has dropped to today 25-27 cents n ppl buying Mui is to bet probability to strike gold at Australia ( by her 40% ownership Next )

If Poh Kong can go back to 50-55 cents at this gold rising to USD1950-2100 period then many counters need to go back to May or June time average share price, especially those healthcare counters.... Yup, the largest shareholders selling plenty of shares during early of Aug , should be the time above 1.40-1.45.... It is normal, just selling larger quantity than other counters while share prices gone up quite a lot ....
