Frankoooo, I used to hold this shares cum bonus. Sold after bonus as I see any light as to all the TPs recommended by IBs. Hype then was their india venture
hey Tony Hope all is well. yaya been holding this forever! just lousy performance since the poison letter back in the days - oh well just want them to make a little move and get out some :)
peter, we are playing reverse psychology to Buffett's tenets :)
‘When a management team with a reputation for brilliance joins a business with poor fundamental economics, it is the reputation of the business that remains intact.’
seriously peter, why don't you be a little more patient and wait out til 1H13? you should be able to see something then if the IPP in india is delivered on time! don't run out of patient at the wrong moment! just a suggestion.
you should only sell if a better opportunity comes along. i had to sold mine and some position of digi (big mistake) too when IJM and AirAsia came along.
"The builder and developer reported a 57 per cent increase in second-quarter revenue at RM559 million from a year ago while net income remained flat at RM60 million."
That's how they got their 11.79 intrinsic! a suggestion of possibly RM2bn+ revenue company! the groups within this RM2bn brackets are Public bank, Maybank, Telekom and a host of blue chip companies! However, they didn't factor in the flat income and more so, shareholders' value repayments unlike the blue-chips!
Tabung Haji has been collecting Mudajaya since early of the year. I think they become substantial shareholder holding 9%. I believe downside is limited and LTH has always better return compare to epf. I have collected some at recent price and Will collect more if price is right. Anyway, I'm still a newbie and just my 2 cents.
Thanks for sharing. I have some at 2.70. I check back and LTH has been collecting from 2.30 -2.80. I think their average is is 2.60 - 2.70. That is my guess only but I will wait till end of nov to see how thing turn out.
Investment Rating: BUY Target Price: 4.37 ringgit Into Mudajaya this year, also performed below the market, in addition to political factors cause trouble, investors are also worried about India's fuel supply agreements. However, with India's recent frequency of a power outage occurs, the government by promoting as soon as possible to solve the local power shortage problem, the current best solution is to sign an agreement with an independent power plants, together with Malaysia and India will launch the power plant project Mudajaya will benefit.
From previous experience with Mudajaya, the share price movements seem unaffected by things like this; of whether a quarterly report is seen as positive or not. We've had news of Mudajaya doing this and that, or getting whatever contract... but yet there was not much impact on the price. With Mudajaya, if it wants to go up, it will do just that. And likewise.
By the way, it has been quiet for some weeks already. Wouldn't be surprised should it suddenly wake up and go on an upswing... and then go back to sleep.
