eagleis, relax bro. market is not steady; but we must stay steady. keeping yr body cells active are good however please avoid virus affection physically and emotionally. Other than construction & property you might be interested in natural resources sector i.e gas and gold.

KLSE is not a casino. This is the place for profesionals to make a living...remisiers...investors...etc.
Before one venture into klse, one must have the knowledge of investing.
Normally, an investor who researched and invested...he will gain. The ones who lost money are the punters who went for the quick kill. Unfortunately most of the time, they are the one being 'slaughtered'. For me, I am a middle/long term investor. When i bought shares in certain counters and those counters shot up, I do take profit or contra.
This is my opinion.

MRT awards two viaduct contracts

KUALA LUMPUR: Two more viaduct contracts were awarded by Mass Rapid Transit Corp Sdn Bhd (MRT) following the sitting of its One-Stop Procurement Committee (OSTC) in Putrajaya yesterday.

The OSTC1 was chaired by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.

The committee awarded Gadang Engineering (M) Sdn Bhd with Package V2, which is for viaduct and associated works from the proposed Kota Damansara Station to the proposed Dataran Sunway Station. The contract is worth RM863.4mil.

Meanwhile, Package V3 for viaduct and associated works from Dataran Sunway to Section 17 in Petaling Jaya was secured by Mudajaya Corp Bhd. This tender is valued at RM816.2mil.

this counter is going to rise slow and steady but will become bullish once the news about election or polls comes out.. this counters are usually election play at the moment

just look now after all the positive news the counter mudajaya is not moving strongly.. all of it s projects are related to our government.. now they already started announcing the winners for the project,,but the election news is still hanging.. MRT projects are coming from our government.. so i think election news is also coming

It is advised not to be emotional with counters. But with Mudajaya, I can't help it... not after reading its financial reports, about its businesses (especially the power plants) and TP. If Mudajaya were a woman, I would definitely marry her HAHA!

Singh, understand where you are coming.
But from my POV,
Mudajya too dependent on government, even if its orderbook is impressive and it is considered healthy, investors are wary of this counter as if the election BN does not win big, it is gonna affect companies like Mudajya progressing forward.

This is why i think Mudajya is still moving very slow compared to the construction lot.

weiboy90, that report was out a few days ago. This is just the confirmation to bursa i suppose.

Mudajaya is linked to the govt. So their stock is somewhat suppressed according to many. Some say its the problem anticipated with the monsoon coming in India and whether they could complete by 1st quarter next year.

analysts have been burnt before by this stock, due to irregularities also. but fundamentally, if all being realised, i would see a 3.60-3.90 range by next year. keep the faith! :)
