Why I buy Airasia ? Just to quote cold Eye 5 criteria

1. Growth - There is a consistent growth for Airasia for the past 10 years
2. Cash Flow - The cash flow for airasia is superberb .
3. PER - Good PER of less than 10 even taking out the one off incomes from the sale of AAC, Ground handling and Espedia
4. ROE - Good ROE of more than 30 %
5. Dividend Yield - More than 10 % DY ( inclusive of SD ) .
- Airasia should be able to pay at least 10 sen even
without the SD . THis is more than 3 % DY .
Not many stocks in KLSE can meet the 5 criteria .

Airasia is the leader of low cost airline which won 10 times as the best low cost airline . When you invest in any industry , try to invest the number one or number two . Just like Glove makers , the two leaders are Harta and Topglove . Both were more than 20 baggers since their inception. With the price of crude going down by more than 25 % since Oct , there is a great cost saving for Airasia. Besides , Airasia can easily pass the higher fuel cost to the customer if it wants . An increase of a few % of airfare and from the ancilliary business , customers will easily accept such increase . I am a regular traveller from Pg to JB since 2018.
I have been seeing the price increase from the minimum of RM 19 to the current minium of RM 69 . This is a 3x increase within 10 years . Will Airasia be the equivalent of Nestle , Panamy, DLady or Ajinomoto ?

AirAsia is a purely low cost airline. If no money to buy high cost tickets (Cathay Pacific, MAB,..), then of course AAGB is the one could offer the most affordable price for students, businessmen, Rich countries like China travelers etc.. in huge demand. Just like buying items from Padini is just normal lifestyles for most of us as affordable. Don't fool people!

Now Airasia also cash rich, every year 30 sen div is very posible. It is right to hold for 10 year also ok.

Ryan n south ancilary income is 40 percent of revenue...aa only about 10 plus....so much more to catch up....if aa can reach 40 percent like them...no more worry about fuel price...can offer lower ticket price...more market share...higher profit...so much room for growth....

Eversince I bought AA about 2years ago there were many anxious moments with the price fluctuating from 4+ to 2+ but I have collected 36sen dividends and come end of the month another 40sen dividends. This make AA my best stock investment. No regrets. For those who hasn't owned any AA stock, it is still not too late to jump in this week. Just buy and keep for dividends and few years later AA will be RM 10 at the rate money is pouring in for AA.

Looking back AirAsia was in high debt, that was a few years back. Gearing was about 2.3 times! Now AirAsia is a net cash company! Strictly, the market should revalue AirAsia due to less risk now!

AirAsia should keep dividend pay out strong going forward, that way the market will take notice and give it a better valuation!
