KLCI Going Heaven. The original announcement was, special dividend to be distributed once AAC sale is completed. Now the deal is projected to be completed by end of the year. Treat the rm0.40 as a pleasant surprise.

I have found my new target, so will not comment here so much from now on. Airasia is fine anyway. Hope the smart member of this forum continue to enlighten the newbie.

MAS and MALINDO shrinking, cannot stand pressure from Airasia already. Won't be surprised if MALINDO goes into insolvency in 2-3 years.

Oil continue to go lower. May see USD40.

Accounting is the language of business. We read through the account to understand the present and the future of the business. As we all know, this is the worse time in business for everyone in Malaysia. Cost is going up, unemployment is going up, consumption is weak, business is very difficult. And yet at this worst moment, in the weakest quarter, Airasia still managed to keep cost down, expand volume and make RM300m operating profit.

Take the worse case scenario, 300m x 4 = 1.2 b profit next year. 10 times PE, makes Airasia 12b capitalisation. You still earn the special dividend and ordinary dividend. Best case scenario? 2b profit is easy. 3b profit?

Next year the business environment will be a lot easier than this year. Oil down, Trade war ease (more tourist coming back), new government's biggest ever budget, competitors downsizing. You name it, every luck any business could dream of is happening next year.

There is a book called "From A to A+", may suit Airasia story just right. time to fly, Airasia!!!!

Mother share needs to go up by 40 cents. Before sp.div. announcement mother share price was around 2.90, after sp.div announcement mother share did not go up to 3.30. Airasia share price need to go up to 3.30 to maintain the value of the warrant traded daily,or Airasia need to stay at around 2.90 ex div. Hopefully the price of Airasia will continue its upward trend.

Opec is worried about shale oil to grab market share. After all, shale oil can produce a lot of gasoline. . Now the situation is very difficult for opec, if the production cut is too much. The oil price raise to usd 70-80, which will encourage the production increase of shale oil, and it is ineffective if production cut is too little. I think OPEC is having a hard time to reach an consensus . Really a headache for opec. . I guess Brent oil will float around usd 60-65. My personal opinion
