The “citi downgrade” is a bit of mystery or mistake. It is just hard to agree that it is based on facts.

I can understanding he predict this year will make less than last year, while low cost peers are doing better because of a lower base. I can’t understand every low cost airlines in the world is trading at 5 times PE? Or he uses other wrong methods of valuation just to achieve his conclusion.

Some positive news reporting says that this upcoming QR is really the beginning of sustainable contribution in terms of profit from associates companies. That is really good as all these years the sons have been dragging on Airasia.

Malaysia is entering slower growth as most of the routes are saturating. Still, I believe MAA IPO within the year.

Why does Citi forecast earnings for competitor airlines to rise 11% while they see AA's dropping 13%?? Why the big difference? Is AA so inefficient that they are expected to lose sales while their competitors are doing well?

Citibank have lost all credibility. Just wanna spook retail players into panic selling their shares so they can scoop them up on the cheap. These pricks should be investigated for share manipulation.
