MK4872 isn't that high volume means somebody sell big lot at 1.69 /1.70? the volume follow the price right? or the price follow the volume? i am confuse now.


high volumn at 1.69 and 1.70 means lots of people bought it at this price....hope these people wont dump at a loss so it should not go any further down.

If u take the KLCI peak of 1,895.18 on 19 Apr 2018 (3 weeks b4 GE14), it has been downtrend all the time for the past 18 months dropping to 1,558.78 now. That's 336.39 points drop, i.e. -17.75% correction.... if drop another 2.25% then this 18 months downtrend will officially become a bear market. So, yes.... I agree with freddiehero that what KAQ4468 has been waiting for (to happen) has already started.

It looks like the PH Government has initiated this 17.75% correction (and soon to be bear market) since it started its 18 months government (what a coincidence)!

16% or 17.75% correction of the KLCI could be just the starting point.... it could drop further another 20% when the bear market actually sinks in (probably in 2020, as what most experts think).

Easier for me lah if you have a lot of extra cash when market crash or bear. I just whack and keep it for few years for 2X above profit, like last time. This opportunity will not always come, hope it come sooner as been waiting since last year...

@Mabel, when the bear market actually sinks in.... the KLCI could drop to as low as 1,100 and stay down for around 18 months; AA could drop to around RM1.30 (all these figures are just my own estimates.... no guarantee, my estimates may not be accurate).

When banking stocks declining, it is a clear sign of overall market correction and heading towards a bear market. Market will only recover once the economic situation stabilizes and foreign funds return in droves.

Fortunately, I exited AA ~ 2.75-3 prior to the Special Dividend. Will re-enter and buy-back AA depending on the price & Q3 results due out towards end November and overall global equities situation.

I managed to buy more after the Special Dividend.. Hence I have met my target number..

Now contemplating since its quite attractive.. Will wait until Q3 before proceeding..

I think those who can hold for a few years should just hold onto AA because its dividend yield is 7% and P/E ratio 3.34 (at that rate, AA will not fall too low even during bear market).

Exactly. Need to manage the risk without being overly aggressive in current market situation. I had bad calls on The Star (despite low entry price @0.65) & Parkson (@0.23) & guess it will be long term investments.

Parkson may close shop just like Giant supermarkets. Parkson no dividend for several years already & price kept going down lower & lower for past 10 years (really hopeless).

I bought them solely based on their NTAs at attractively low price on the basis that there are high chance for Asset divestments or M&A:Corporate Exercise.

Definitely AAX. Under present economic/equities condition, we can only increase our investment if we can find “AAA” stocks at oversold position. Certainly not high loss making and highly geared stocks.

I still have another 28 other stocks in my Portfolio (majority in positive territories except for Star, Parkson and banking stocks) based on “bottom fishing” strategy beside already cashing in on other double digit gains (AA, Airport, Inari, Astro, MBMR, Genting, GenM, GCB, VSI, IHH, Sunway etc.). Guess I will have to ride with the ups & downs as Nothing Venture Nothing Gain :)

@Vulture123, sell Parkson ASAP (and maybe also sell STAR) and buy AA and Genting Bhd (Genting Bhd owns 40% of Genting S'pore). I have a feeling Parkson is going to close shop next year when recession deepens in Malaysia. We already witness Giant supermarkets large scale closing (and I think the Store too but in smaller scale).

In any case, very low investment/weighting in The Star & Parkson based on high risk high return approach/medium/long term horizon. Just wrong timing and enter too early. Have not average down as yet due to market uncertainties.

Good advice. I will definitely buy AA & Genting again but not at current price as yet. In view of global economic/market uncertainties, I have shifted to 30% Equities & 70% Cash position to ride through current global economic uncertainties.
