so on which month AA are likely to finally make money? certainly not May or June. MCO maybe extended into May. Even if MCO relaxed control on the number of flight will be the last things to relax.

Domestic flights mostly go to Sabah and Sarawak, arrive there need to quarantine for 14 days first. So leisure and business trip are total out of the question.

International flight not like resume even in July. Looking at the major market for AA China banned all foreigner, even if ban relaxed still may retain 14-28 days quarantine. Thailand and Vietnam are the only neigbour with case going down. Philiphine, SG, Indon all have cases still surging and maybe 2-3 month later only can be cleared.

The Raya and Gawai peak travel season for AA in May and June are certainly not going to be making money this year.

Do you expect December year end travel season to be the time where AA finally make money this year? How many will be willing to travel with family? What if there is a 3rd of 4th wave as it is winter in the Northern Hemisphere and peak pneumonia season.

RM0.90 coming soon. i dont think AA investor relaying on news only or prediction. they use gut feelings and the attitude dare to take the challenge. AA is a well perform company. but this year will be a tough and rough path to fly.

While the idea of a merger sounds logical, will the warlords and the non business people know what to do? Racial divide will rule the day and it won't be about doing things right and making money. Oh ya, the underwriting bank will make a killling in fees. I highly doubt that they will alllow TF to run it the way he thinks it is right. Then again, in Malaysia cows will jump over the moon.

AA is going to be like Hing Leong in Singapore file for Bankruptcy. Caught in big wrong fuel hedging gamble. AA similar will have huge billion losses even if it say it will fly again at all. Say only. Just look later at the slow rate of people willing to pay for AA flights. No takers especially when they haven't even refund the existing cash owing to the customers cancelled and not yet even fly yet. The losses will exceed 1 billion given the lowest oil price ever. And AA hedged above USD 70 so for every mile it flies it loses big time. This company looks like will bankrupt. Doesn't matter how much time TF spends with the new FM. The new FM cannot risk tax payers money or his career on a losing drowning ailing gone case. It will come tumbling down. Just watch. Collapse.
