SuperKonlee may have mistaken that for the free seats promotion all flights for the promotion period are really free, passengers are only required to pay for the airport tax, fuel surcharge and other miscellaneous fees, and the rest are free.

It’s not an accounting issue. It’s actually Stony mindset issues which want to fight for market shares based on cheapest prices… this mindset is not sustainable in the long run. Stony learning from his master in Virgins Alantic Airlines…

Current airline prices is enough to profit.... thats why airlines are set for record profits ... tickets are now not as cheap as before ... after the zero fares, price soar up the remaining passengers will have to pay more

The mistake is not selling cheap tickets but having hive off all planes to an entity and re-lease them, therefore, made it saddle with liabilities of RM11 bill. In doing so it enriched major owners and left debts that the Airline are unable to pay off post-pandemic. Tony is now looking to start other types of business knowing that Cap A days are numbered.

Another good news is coming should be the number of planes operational
If he gets 120 of them operational AA will be at full speed , operation will be smooth with less delay and more destination will be opened !! More revenue boom boom Boom dont zzz on it

PT Indonesia Airasia: 47.43%
Philipines Airasia Inc: 40%
Both even equity is less than 50% but still considered as subsidiaries.

Whereas after restructure CapitalA hold 43% AAV holding company of Thai Airasia Co. Ltd is reclassified as associate company.

2. The group reiterated that the passenger throughput recovery is gaining traction. In Nov 2022, the group operated 125 aircrafts (about 60% of 4 airlines fleet size) and is currently targeting to reactivate 150 operational aircrafts by March-2023 and expect entire fleet of 204 A320 aircrafts and one A330 in AirAsia Malaysia to return to service by 3Q 2023. By end Nov 2022, it would have resumed 86% and 60% of pre-pandemic domestic and international capacity, respectively, by utilising 124 aircrafts.
