Petronas recently announced RM50b for Capex is intended to stimulate stock market especially to start with oil n gas sector.. Alam is speculative stock n in right timing for issuing bonus Warrant. Assuming after ex on 20 March mother maintain 0.15 warrant can reach 7-8 sen easily because the market sentiment is good for oil n gas now.. safe bet

the bonus is non cash, a free warrant which actually after conversion will give extra cash to the company

its good to holder bcoz its free

but the risk is... if you buy at high at 0.15, then earn free warrant 1:2 ratio at 0.01, and after ex date it drop back to 0.10, then you will be losing 0.04..

unless it dont drop, then you save

Friday Armada down is because of bumi Armada operator keep absorbing shorties shares, goreng group not yet start

But goreng group already started knm already.

Target for knm short run is 0.20, and armada is 0.25 - 0.30

If the company is progressing well in the next 1 or 2 years, worth to invest as the free Warrant will further reward you.
The gearing is not so bad. With some push of revenues, it will turn around! - revisit Last report.
Last AGM did mention, 2019 remains challenging.
So be patient. Buy and keep till 2020.

Most oil counters staged a recovery.

Now the question is how far they can go.
I believed most of them had tidy up their kitchens by now.
If everything goes fine, you will see the fruits soon.
Not only Alam I invested but many other oil counters!
Different in Alam is that I hope to be extra rewarded with the warrant!

if you wanna buy for the bonus, then must buy before the ex date, but you have to bear the risk of dumping after that

my personal view is no need to chase for the bonus because it have long way to go before turn to black

even if you get the free warrant, its still not sure if the buy/sell volume will be big or none
