Willy, 2.15 Resistance was long gone. Take profit was last Friday (agreed wth wyq89). Test1: 2.16 Friday, Highest to date. Now it has move from Overbought to Downtrend. Pending Test 2, Highest (2nd Round).

UEM Land is a stock good to keep til end of year. Q2 result improved. Lets just hope Q3 and Q4 will do well too. Then perhaps we can see a rise in price

We refer to our announcements dated 5 October 2011 and 6 October 2011.

The Company wishes to inform that on 4 September 2012, the Kuala Lumpur High Court had allowed BND's judicial review application to set aside the additional tax assessment amounting to RM73,836,712.01. The High Court ruled in favour of BND and declared that the Inland Revenue Board ("IRB") had no legal basis to raise the additional tax assessment.

The IRB has 30 days to appeal to the Court of Appeal against the decision of the High Court.

This announcement is dated 5 September 2012.

The general market trend is one thing. Then there is talk about the general elections (yet again). Sooner or later, the forecast of when it will be held will eventually be correct. Some people had been forecasting it since 2009. With UEM Land and other counters perceived - real or otherwise - to be politically connected, there's a risk. Then again there's also the potential for reward if the right side wins. MRCB, Glomac etc. - there are opportunities here. And risks.

GE-13 is a factor...depends on how much u think a factor it is.. I think at 1.80, the GE-13 is very much factored in ady.. But up to ur own interpretation.. this is my own =) cheers

This is a wholly owned subsidiary of Khazanah too.. so I am not too worried that it will go awry.. Big bro Khazanah will surely support it. And there is a lot of make-up to do before election.. BN will want their associated GLC to look good as a feel good factor in their election

klci is said to be defensive due to epf .... Mark Matthews (Bank Julius Baer & Co Ltd Managing Directer) said, "EPF makes equities expensive" in the edge today. He reiterated, "Epf is a substantial shareholder in many companies ...."
