If Harta 800mil then this could be the calculation, asp X 2 the previous quarter... means 2 X RM778mil, assuming cost remains similar without expansion = RM 640mil, then profit = RM1556mil - RM640mil = RM916mil pre tax profit... then after tax = RM687mil....

As much as I'd like to believe 800 mill profit, please don't simply post rumour numbers or else it may mislead people. If the numbers are untrue and end up much less then it can do some serious damage to those who simply believe.

Many investor moving from big cap to small - lower investment, some scale of uptrend - want to create another similar trend like Supermax. Take out 1 unit of Harta/TopGlove can buy 5 unit of Carepls!

Harta price has included the QR positive impact - still can go higher but momentum not so strong... The good news from any Big 4 will also channel the momentum to small cap.

Last quarter nett profit RM114 mil after taking in RM42 mil derivitive loss. Nett profit will be RM156 mil without derivitive loss, based on RM778 mil revenue.

Assuming 8% increase in capacity and 20% increase in ASP (best case scenario), max additional profit only RM230 mil plus RM156 mil.

(778 x 1.08 x 1.2) - 778 = 230 mil

230 + 156 = RM386 mil

Profit RM386 mil based on this simplistic calculation that don't even minus off additional expenses like raw material and shipping cost for the 8% extra output. Cap it off maybe RM400 mil on any upside surprise. Wishful thinking to have 800 mil profit

Not sure why Harta seems stuck today. The euphoria of simply goreng small cap glove companies is a bit mind boggling to me. People just simply buy without much thinking and profit projection. As if all small companies can do 20X profit growth like Carepls.
