Seems like whatever news on Omicron will only able to push the price for about 2 days. At the end its still come to the fundamental question whether it will translates to financial advantage to the glove counters. Logically it may result in higher volume in gloves demand. Probably investors spooked by the experience of falling in stock price and ASP even during Delta craze few months ago.

I must say its been a bit disappointing. I had expected the share price to be RM6.00 by now with all the negative news surrounding Omricon. Double vaccines are not working to prevent infection. Cant boost everyone in time before the next wave in Europe and US. Demand of gloves in Q1 of 2022 should go up. Inventory should be low as buying slowed down in anticipation of lower ASPs. So RM6.00 for Harta is not unreasonale target for this month, could even touch RM7.00 next month. Sitting back and watching it.

I am not sure if we can blame on poor glove sentiment. To me the overall market sentiment is bad. Aside from Harta, none of my other counters seem to be doing well, banking, plantation, tech, tourism. They all seemed to be down and out. No energy.

I still have a significant portion in Harta (and some Kossan). They're kept in the freezer. Will add more if it dips below RM5. Good opportunity to accumulate since it rarely stays below RM5.

KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 21): The public are advised to protect themselves and stay safe as they begin cleaning up after the flood to prevent an outbreak of infectious diseases.

Health director general, Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah, said in a Facebook post on Tuesday that aside from the possibility of more Covid-19 cases, the Ministry of Health is also bracing for a rise in flood-related infections.

Israelis over the age of 60 and medical teams will be eligible for a fourth Covid vaccination to protect against the fast-spreading omicron variant, prime minister Naftali Bennett has announced.

“The citizens of Israel were the first in the world to receive the third dose of the Covid-19 vaccine and we are continuing to pioneer with the fourth dose as well,” he said on Tuesday, calling on those who meet the criteria to “go and get vaccinated.”

Bennett’s remarks came after a meeting of the country’s ministerial coronavirus cabinet which convened amid growing concern over the spread of the Omicron variant.

No one will know how the price movement. If we all know, then there will be no stock market because buying and selling will never happen. When people buy, they always think their price is the lowest. Lesson is always plan ahead whether buy for long term or short term. If long term, not really have to worry about daily price movement. If buy for short term, always set target price to sell whenever price up or down certain %. Most important is always buy with the money we can loss.

South Korea reports new record number of Covid patients in critical condition

South Korea has reported a new record of seriously ill Covid-19 patients, according to Korea Disease Control Agency (KDCA) data from Tuesday.

As of 12 a.m. local time Wednesday, 1,063 Covid-19 patients are in critical condition, with 84% of them age 60 and above, KDCA said.
