Just calculate the doubling of Omicron cases in South Africa, UK & Denmark every 2-3 days and it will throw out all the IBs TPs based on glove demand & ASPs for FY2022/23 going forward.

I think with Omicron , the share price should stay above RM5.00.

I don't think it will jump up to RM7.00 like 29th Nov but should go above Rm6.00 soon if the negative news continues.

Its really so hard to predict. Sitting back and watching.

Btw , Top Glove directors started buying shares already.

Just be patience another 4 weeks when worldwide Omicron variant will cause very high hospitalisations in US,Europe and Australia follows by other Asia countries....Peak daily new cases will reach new record 900k to 1million which will overwhelm hospitals and medical staffs by mid January

Omicron is here, and people are not taking it seriously. All evidence shows transmission speed that's unprecedented, yet people take comfort in the fact that the effect are less severe. Even if it is less severe, just by the sheer amount of people getting infected through lack of proper SOP, the low % of severe-ness * high population of infection will still result in high hospitalisation rate.

Which country wakes up first to take appropriate measures will be the country that suffer the least eventually.

omicron has lesser effect compared to delta variant, but the fact is that ,glove counter will still be rewarded ,lesser death rate from omicron will only affect coffin counters ,not glove counters . lols

I think the news is not reporting omicron truth. They are trying to hide but not from the mkt. Mkt knew what is happening out there day in and day out by share movement....

Due to import tariffs starting December Chinese glove suppliers market share in US currently 25-30% will be greatly reduced to less than 10-15% so greatly beneficials especially to top 4 Malaysia gloves companies except Supermax US CBP ban

Confirmed, you can google US Tariff Section 301 Exclusion list.

Previous there are 99 products, but now only 81 product can enjoy the exclusion till 30 June 2022, while remaining 18 product will end from the exclusion list by 30 Nov 2021.

Nitrile Glove and Mask are one of the item under the 18 products, so their tariff exemption is until 30 Nov 2021 only.

The Omicron coronavirus variant has been reported in 89 countries and the number of cases is doubling in 1.5 to three days in areas with community transmission, the World Health Organization (WHO) has said.

Omicron is spreading rapidly in countries with high levels of population immunity, but it is unclear if this is due to the virus’s ability to evade immunity, its inherent increased transmissibility or a combination of both, the WHO said in an update.
The WHO warned that with cases rising so rapidly, hospitals could be overwhelmed in some places.

“Hospitalisations in the UK and South Africa continue to rise, and given rapidly increasing case counts, it is possible that many healthcare systems may become quickly overwhelmed,” it said.

The rapidly spreading omicron variant is now the dominant Covid strain in the U.S., representing 73% of sequenced cases, according to data published Monday by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Omicron has displaced the previously dominant delta variant, which the CDC says is now an estimated 26.6% of sequenced cases for the week ending December 18. Just one week earlier, delta made up 87% of cases to omicron’s 12.6%, the data shows.

The CDC had previously published data for the week ending Dec. 11 showing that omicron represented 2.9% of cases, but has revised the estimate for that period upward.

Better don't be over confident and always put stop loss if invest for short term. We had almost similar experience with Delta where the price drop from sky high.
