Simple Arithmetic on the exponential demand for glove usage (vaccinations, testings and hospitalization). Just look at the daily reported Covid-19 positive numbers globally due to Omicron and it is not even the Peak numbers yet. The trend for 2022 is already obvious.

In the immediate term, things will get worse before it gets better as countries globally will hit new daily Covid-19 High/Peak due to Omicron. With Covid-19 (Omicron) and elevated inflation (supply disruptions) uncertainties, equities market will be volatile. Investments ought to be based on Safety First. Stay invested in sector that will remain positive and profitable amidst the Covid-19 uncertainties and Companies with strong Balance Sheet (ie. ample Cash). Capital preservation and additional dividend above FD interest/capital gain will be real bonus.

Yeah Panorama1, my average cost is slightly above 5.
If Harta can consistently give 10cents dividend every quarter then it around ~8% dividend yield. Anything more than consider bonus :-) and so far, it's giving more than that...

Finally EPF started buying again on Dec 31. Hopefully its a good sign for 2022.

I am suprised it hasnt breached RM6.00 yet. But I guess slow and steady is better that last months rocket to RM7.00 which was not sustainable.

RM7.00 TP for 2022 seems to be reasonable, but it needs to be able to stay at those levels for some comfort for us.

Oh yesss...uptrend.
It will be awhile before we will visit RM5 again.
No plans to buy. While my average price is ~RM7, not worried about paper losses.
Not sure if recent surges in covid cases will greatly increase demand. Just have to wait for next QR. I expect next QR to be lower than the last, but not to worry.

personally i believe Harta is worth more than RM6, but those who bought at RM5 would gain 20% within span of 2 months. Do not rush in too quickly, because sentiment is still poor. If bigshot unload all at once, may trigger panic. Keep in mind that bursa is still small market, relatively easy to be manipulated, but if you do your homework and buy strong counters at a discount, your effort will be rewarded.

Yes @Anxious, better than the RM5- RM7- RM5 roller-coaster ride 2 months ago.

We may occasionally experience sharp correction (sharp drop) but if the current Omicron trend continues, we may even see prices reaching RM7 or RM8 in the coming months (Just based on a gut feeling, everyone has one =) ). However since next QR profit may be lower than the last, expect sentiments to remain poor.
