yeah..DY is about 6% at current price, rm1.24 if the dividend in 2014 remain same as this year.

2014 a bad year for REIT,better be patient to buy at below 1.00 to reduce investment risk as most of the fund manager doing now.

Worst of all increases is interest rate increase. 1st or 2nd quarter interest rate should at least increase by 25 basis point . That means increase in borrowing cost. That means fd rate will be higher.

Their profits will grow up a lot once the Putra Mall renovation is completed. Once profits increased, you will see the price go up. No worries, dividend still will be distributed quarterly.

But REIT shares has been dropping due to the assessments rate hikes and high electric cost, well all this will be transferred to consumers ... so ... but however, SunREIT is in good record as they hold multiple different business on REIT. Sunway Medical centre on REIT sure is a profit, business buildings, shopping malls and etc..

Never sell if its a capital loss. Hold if possible. Get the dividends to cushion the loss

unclefoong: No point selling at lost, u may keep for dividend. Either u do an averaging or looking for other counter. Reit is for dividend payment. The lower the price u buy the better the dividend yield. Unless u are looking for capital gain stock, then u may cut lost as usually capital gain stock dividend yield are not so good or some even no dividend at all.

EPF bought and sold back the same volume~
REIT market is low at the price for accumulating, and it will only have movements after June due to the tuning of markets.

Just my saying that EPF needed more money to boost up local government and political related counter for hitting our KLCI higher as this index will prove that our country are getting better in statistics figures.
