if you're buying reit for dividend yield, buy it before ex date. if not, buy it later coz the next ex date will be many months away. few sen difference now doesnt matter.
After ex date, share price will be adjusted accordingly, no free lunch. Imho, comparing reits, should consider the capital appreciation potential oso. Sunreit holding up quite well at 1.35 level. Accumalating some.... One local fund mgr downgraded sreit from buy to hold, hahahaha!!!!!

Here is why I accumulated some sunreit at rm1.35: I expect the price will return at least rm1.45 within a year (even with dividend pay out; some asset will start to contribute profit) and expected dividend of min rm0.07 within 1 year. So, return should be more than 10%.

stareit is better imho..dividend almost the same..but buy 3 sunreit u can buy almost get 4 stareit..don't u think so?
