Everyone needs to understand that a company has no choice but to say it has no knowledge/unaware until they receive an OFFICIAL letter.

For Example:

IF kps privatisation is true, kps can only confirm the privatisation if they receive a letter from the investment bank on behalf of its major shareholder (the offeror).

USUALLY, the letter is received on the same date the letter is issued.

So, on the same day itself, the company has to announce that they received it.

Example, if the letter is dated 17 Nov, bursa announcement also on 17 Nov. Usually the case.

To get a better understanding, check out previous privatisation announcements on bursa website.

Hi guys, I checked the share price for ccm. It went up from 14/10 to 22/10 even it denied the privatisation but this kps dropped like hell so the privatisation is still a question mark till we can really see the hike of the price. No matter how, thanks for everyone's comments and findings here.

dollardollarbill, ccm side sure pleasant lor, golden egg wor...the share price up from below rm1 till rm3.1...unfortunately I bought SAMCHEM previously and so so only. Luckily I bought a bit kps only so not so hurt. To me, at 0.81, sell or not sell is the same as I guess it may drop further till 0.75 level till next result is released
