If wan analyst to re-rating YTLP, the simplest and fast way is to resume quarterly dividend payout. Analyst like cash dividend the most, if YTLP resume quarterly payout 3.5sen, or 14sen pa, analyst will peg YTLP at PE 14-16x, if not, fair value for them is PE 10-12x. Analyst tend to excluding good factors like share buyback and treasury cancellation, preferring cash dividend instead

if 1q create record, then could be diff story.
with 3.5% share cancelled, eps should be better in coming 1q result.
if they cancelled another 3.5% before 1q, eps will be even higher.

Q1 is form 1 July to 3o Sept, it will only court less 3.5% share volume, or earning increase 3.5% just based on reduce total volume share.

Share buyback + treasury cancellation is better than cash dividend. This is because company used cash reserve to buy own share and cancel later can boost EPS/NTA, thus company manage own cash for the benefit of company itself

However, if company payout cash to shareholder, it will not benefit company itself at all, instead cash payout reward just company shareholder.

My wish are

GST 5%; Corporate tax reduce from 25% to 20%, staggering 1% reduction pa under 5 year plan, Personal tax relief increase to 10k; children relief increase to 2k; separate EPF: 5k + Insurance: 3k; resume real estate gain tax; increase sin tax for NFO etc

Reduce corporate tax from 25 to 20% in staggering basis should boost all listed company profit and to make tax more closer to Singapore 18% corporate tax.

It is unlikely to lower tax bracket as it will offend civil servant as it assume to adverse impact on them, which is hard supported for BN.

Therefore, its better to implement direct GST, collect tax from all citizen be employ or unemployed, which in turn must compensated with more relief to current tax prayer and lessen their burden.

running a country not as simple just shouting a slogan "1M'sia", "Janji Ditepati", need a 5 years blueprint/roadmap, else every year shouting without action, time fly yet another 5 years then shout for election, everything remain status quo. how to progress ?
there is no plan to reduce debt, increase iph, bash corruption, increase education system & etc. i wonder how a country can develop further ?
creating a landmark like tallest building in the world is just a wasteful spending, as it serve no purpose, just for remambrance but what benefit offer to Rakyat ?
