Locked profit first. Thank you Latitude for the new year angpau. Anyway, today most of the export counters free fall like no tomorrow: MPI, Hevea, Homeritz, Wellcal, Topglov.. All of them are good earning companies with excellent EPS.
mayb koon yew yin has other better investment opportunities so he selling latitud. otherwise he is just a con/liar by "tricking" people buy his shares so he can dispose. haha.
Is there a good reason why the share price keep going down? Even if you discounts the exchange rate the PE for the next couple of years is still below 8. That look too cheap. It should be trading around PE of 10.
sure not game over, why just look at exchange rate 2 determine the value of the latitud. i bought laittud since oct 2013 when ringgit is around 3.20 to usd. latitud earning and sales increase in tandem with share price due 2 us housing recovery after suprime crisis.laittud is the first furniture counter 2 show the improvement of financial results in late 2013 follow by liehen, pohuat, homeritz in 2014 then shh in 2015.i believe this is not the time 2 dispose this counter at the moment especially if the exchange rate is the main concern. if u want 2 win big, pls think big.
For last qtr ending 31st Dec 2015, we can expect result will be release after CNY. The corresponding qtr ending on 31st Dec 2014, result was release on 12 jan 2015. So after CNY price may be underpinned by this coming good result.
"Exchange rate is a bonus point to export Company" is, at its best, partially true, bec appreciation of Ringgit will make Malaysia products more expensive leading to drop in sales volume of such export counters, consequently, a drop in turnover and of course and downgrade of earning prospect !
