look at the latest QR, timber revenue 37mil, but the profit was 33.7mil, record a 91% of margin. now the log timber output kept increasing... can't imagine the profit for the next quarter. the management should continue looking for more forest landbank as they proved this is profitable business since early 2015.

Fajarbaru gets RM22m contract to renovate Pos Malaysia’s KLIA parcel sortation centre

KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 12): Fajarbaru Builder Group Bhd secured a RM22.05 million contract from Pos Malaysia Bhd to renovate the latter’s Integrated Parcel Sortation Centre at Pos Malaysia International Hub at Kuala Lumpur International Airport.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the group said its wholly-owned subsidiary Fajarbaru Builder Sdn Bhd entered into a contract for renovation and fitting-out works with Pos Malaysia for the expansion, renovation and other associated works on the said parcel centre.

The contract, to be completed in eight months, is expected to contribute to the group’s earnings for the financial years ending June 30, 2018 (FY18) and June 30, 2019 (FY19).

Fajarbaru’s share price gained 0.5 sen or 0.59% to close at 84.5 sen today, giving it a market capitalisation of RM312.21 million.

Year-to-date, the counter has appreciated 55.05% from 54.5 sen on Dec 30 last year.

KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 14): AllianceDBS Research said Fajarbaru Builder Group Bhd (Fajar) had on Dec 13 traded higher to 86 sen before closing near the day’s high at 85.5 sen (up 1 sen or 1.18%). In its evening edtion yesterday, the research house said Fajar continued to stay below the 20-day (blue) and 50-day (red) moving average lines.

“Given the recent share price behaviour, the stock is likely to move between 82 sen and 86 sen in the coming few days. A crossover of 86 sen should see further price rise to the next overhead resistance zone, 89 sen – 91 sen. However, a fall below 82 sen would put pressure on the stock down to the subsequent support at 80 sen,” it said.

AllianceDBS Research said stock volume traded on Dec 13 was 550,000 shares compared to the 3-month average volume of 1.33 million shares.
The research house said that indicators wise, the MACD was marginally below the 9-day moving average line with the sell signal remains intact. It said the relative strength index indicated that the stock was currently in a neutral zone.

wilson, what are you worry about? we all can't predict the log timber production capacity. november outout 35k, may be december will hit 50k. but for sure coming quarter log production capacity will break history record.
