No matter how it would be more cost-effective for Msia to make gloves than it makes in China. Our Bangla labor cost and also the basic material rubber cost would be much cheaper as compared to the costs in China. The relationship between China and Msia is still not bad, thus hope that China wouldn't want to do much that can harm Msia's economy.

By the way, profit is still way higher before pre-pandemic as pre-pandemic 300-450 million only per year, now 1 QR already around 200 million, the only thing people are guessing is how much more profit after normalize to pre-pandemic level, back to 300-450 million per year or even more than that? I bet will still be more than pre-pandemic, surely don't dream to go beyond billions profit already.....

That will need to see next QR how much......

Most of these analyst work for IBs. They have underlying interest.

Market is always forward looking. Therefore look forward 6 months with Omicron being the dominant variant which can evade vaccines, highly transmittable, causing hospitalisation and even now death.

More and more vaccination doses every year as vaccines are waning. CEO of Pfizer and Biontech have already said that Covid 19 jabs likely to be required every year.

Now in the USA, UK, Europe, Australia, etc - gloves are being used for vaccination due to Omicron transmissibility. Also more tests in airports, work places, schools, etc. Hospitalization increase etc. Glove demand will improve drastically and ASP will begin to rise.

All analyst will make a U turn very soon.

Unfortunately, many TG workers were infected during the pandemic, which caused national concern. Due to the long period of lockdown and strict SOP, the operations of many TG plants have been affected. Less production leads to fewer products and fewer sales, which means less profit, which is normal. In any case, this is not the end of the world for TG.

Price up n down is part of share investing risk, so long as one is in for the longer term, one shouldn't be worried at all. There's no reason a fundamentally strong company will not yield strong returns if hold on a long term basis. TG is one such company so folks, no worry if u buy n keep, after all historical records have shown
