（吉隆坡16日讯）科学、工艺及革新部长凯里指出，我国在参与了全球冠病疫苗机制（COVAX）后，将可通过该机制获得国内10%人口的新冠肺炎疫苗。

他指出，政府的目标是要达到70%的国人能够接种疫苗，因此，我国正通过其他管道获取另外60%人口的疫苗。

他说，政府希望能在明年首两个季度，能获得疫苗的供应，惟这必须获得国家药品监管局（NPRA）的批准。



他强调，国家药品监管局将通过临床实验的数据，严格鉴定疫苗的安全后，才会作出是否预购的决定。

凯里今日在国会下议院问答环节，如是回应行动党亚庇国会议员陈泓缣的提问。

他说，截至11月13日，世界卫生组织已宣布目前已有11个疫苗制造商进入第3期的临床实验工作。而截至目前，政府已和其中10个制造商进行洽谈。

凯里也说，有数个洽谈已进入最后阶段，一旦有结果，政府将会在近期作出相关宣布。

“有8个制造商是由政府直接接洽，另外2个制造商是通过COVAX洽谈。”

For me i still waiting China vaccine report , is more easy for Asean country , last aug news say China will out the report in November too. I think if china vaccine report same around 90% to 98% then pharma company will fly high.

So many vaccine news but still no much effect..it proves that this counter is lack of fundamental compère to those gloves..consider overvalue if u compare the earnings (although they hv a steady profit) before and now COVID situation..holding some but not much...will hv a decision on tomorrow’s movement..

With good news why share price not moving ? 1) Awaiting approval of budget (may increase more spending for vaccine alleged to get more Malaysians to have vaccinations). 2) details of the earnings from the vaccine not know yet and even IB/analyst cannot come out with proper statistics and earnings on this counter) At the least like what i have mentioned before businessman would not want to venture into a losses business. Anyway, we hope the budget can go through and rakyat should be aware of their rights to exercise in the next general election to penalise those neglects the livelihood of the people by not supporting the expenditure and a call for general election is not wise in the now covid pandemic.
