KWSP needs to make from capital gain and not just from dividend. Hence, they are accumulating now at low price to wait for the next round bullish in Jan or Feb next year.

Normally retail investors are the loser coz they have no patience unlike the institutional investors who has a good patience to wait.

Pharma has been releasing news on its vaccine distribution preparation but DPharma is keeping its silence. Why? Any hint?

Fundamental was shaken by uncertainties, hence look for alternative counter's as the risk has become evidence

DuoPharma is the one Pharmaceutical company in Malaysia, with "Injectable Durgs" license directly into blood stream ? What's there to compete when Vaccines should arrive?

Both GLCs would surely be involved with Covid Vaccine roll-out. Looking at past records, Pharma has always been the MOH Logistic and Distribution Servicing. No doubt, they are now preparing for vaccine deliveries.

And Dpharma is more focused on generic drugs manufacturing, Insulin formulation and bottling. Anyone wants to share the differences?

Posted by colimusm1999 > 2020-12-30 08:46 | Report Abuse

These two are GLC. Since the buyer is gomen, surely the bisnis goes to them as in the past. Almost a foregone conclusion. Just not sure who gets what share in which part of the logistics. It's anybody's guess except a few well connected people. To me hentam both la.

https://duopharmabiotech.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/annual/2008/ceo_review.pdf

it says above that in 2008 duopharma is building vaccine fill and finish facility at cost of 7m.

Anyone knows whether this has been completed, and if so what type of vax duopharma has produced with this facility.

It’ll be a very attractive for me to consider buying duopharma if they have experience in running vax fill and finish line succesfully.

In the same News article, the hospital spokesman said the Nurse that had Covid a week after taking Pfizer clarified the first shot would take between 14 to 21 days to help our body build the antigen and be 50% protected. After the 2nd shot at 28 days, efficacy would be at 95%.

The nurse could possibly contacted Covid-19 PRIOR to taking the shot. Covid vaccine is misconstrued to be the CURE. It is not a CURE but a protection and building antigen against the deadly virus.

Probably a antivax stint since he show Covid symptons after a week. Very cheap. And many people read news with eyes wide shut.

We do not pretend to advocate, advise or solicit investments or to avoid. Decisions are yours and none the better. Nobody knows the roles applied by these 2 GLCs as announced by MOSTI in July 2020. We only deduce the facilitate based on their past and present capabilities.

Keyman188 always like to repeat & repeat to remind market again...

Time to wake up switching to economy recovery stocks...

Smart money already gone & had switched to others....

Keyman188 foresee further downside risk towards 2.80 ~ 3.00......

If unable to support, further downside risk towards 2.55 ~ 2.65...

Don't be hero to fight current level......

Even though you all plan to keep it for long term...

But not at this point since overall this counter sentiment remained very very weak...

Don't burnt your hard earned money......

For more safety margin better be more patience until below 3.00 then decide again......

Fyi, for the past few years record range, 1.30 ~ 1.60.....

Only this year is different because of heading more speculation then shot up above 4.00......

While Malaysia currently does not have any manufacturers of vaccines, two local manufacturers in Malaysia (Pharmaniaga and Duopharma) have already indicated that they have the necessary facilities to fill and finish vaccines.

Malaysia is part of the internationally recognised Pharmaceutical Inspection Cooperation Scheme (PICs) and thus Malaysian manufacturers and finish and fill facilities approved by the NPRA will be in line with international standards.
