That kind of agreement in China is like a paper mill. TJ is a property company so who would believe them so they put in sthg related to medical building to stay within their business charter. They got nthg in logistics infrastructure like Pharmaniaga, no labs and history in pharmacology or any team of pharmacologist.....this counter cannot goreng even... just want to pull a fast one for suckers.

Last week, Moderna announced the start of a late-stage trial on 30,000 people to demonstrate that its vaccine is safe and effective, the final hurdle prior to regulatory approval. It has said the vaccine could be ready for widespread use by the end of this year.

"As we pivot to a commercial stage company, we recognise the need for responsible pricing in the face of the pandemic," Chief Executive Officer Stéphane Bancel said.

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia is in talks with China over a potential Memorandum of Understanding to ensure access to the COVID-19 vaccine when it is safe to use, said Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Khairy Jamaluddin on Wednesday (Aug 5).

Delivering his wrap up speech in parliament, the minister noted that China is among the countries that are quite advanced in the development of vaccines.

“I have had a video conference with my counterpart in China to discuss the possibility of signing an MOU for Malaysia to have access to the vaccine immediately.

“That is, if it is found to be safe and effective by the National Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency (NPRA) under the Ministry of Health,” he said.

He added that Foreign Minister Hishammuddin Hussein will also be speaking with his Chinese counterpart on Wednesday, and the MOU as well as the vaccine will be on the agenda.

In a press conference on Jul 14, Mr Khairy said that Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin has agreed to allow government-linked companies Duo Pharma and Pharmaniaga to carry out the “fill and finish” process in Malaysia.

Seems like US vaccine companies will charge the vaccine dose with around RM160 plus, if Malaysia want to package the vaccine and sell to customer, how much profit we can foresee?

1. Net profit of each dose
2. It seems only need 1 dose of vaccine for each person (at least last one year)
3. How many person will get this vaccine (Malaysia only has small population)
4. It seems it is one time profit and only apply to small number of people

Whether I need to buy this stock or straight to buy Moderna?
