The predecessor of Barakah was a PN17 company. Now Barakah suffered the same fate. There is no stopping the next successor will be one too.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

So basically Barakah becomes PN17 are due to
1) Low shareholder's funds/equity (not making $)
2) Materials uncertainty stated in FY17 (which has not improved as of FY18Q4) - MIGHT insufficient $ to repay debt.
3) KL101 (subsidiary) defaulted on installments.

Of which, IF, the news on white knight (capital injection) and collaboration with Min Sheng are true/real then the above 3 issues (positively) should be solved.

On top of that, the company is working on its debt restructuring scheme which they fairly confident can get their larger creditors' support (as mentioned in an article) so issue (2) is ,once again, supported.

But sure enough, they said they're confident doesn't mean they really do right? So that's really depends on you which side you trust. For me, the biggest issue of Barakah is that they're not making any money. So hopefully the collaboration with Min Sheng aids this point.

But at the mean time they already triggered pn17 requirements(refer Phase as mentioned in announcement) before their so-called restructure plan. cant escape the fate being listed as pn17. tuesday sure big drop. u wana sell ke collect ke that is your choice.
