whatever project they have wound affect the share price, further more even it diversified to property development it consider late entrance wont benefit the company performance at all. It will only make the company to even more highly gear.

Salcon acquires remaining 40pct stake in Sacon Darco Environmental

Salcon Bhd has acquired the remaining 40 percent stake in Singapore-based Salcon Darco Environmental Pte Ltd from Darco Water Technologies Ltd for RM31.028 million.

Upon completion of the acquisition, Salcon Darco Environmental would become Salcon’s wholly-owned subsidiary.

The group acquired the initial 60 per cent stake in Salcon Darco Environmental last year for RM47.475 million.

In a filing to Bursa Malaysia today, Salcon said 85 percent of the purchase amount would be funded through bank borrowings, and the remaining 15 percent by internally generated funds.

On rationale, the water and wastewater solutions provider said the acquisition was in line with the expansion plan of its core business activities.

“Subsequent to the acquisition, Salcon would have full control on the potential upcoming expansion plan on the Wukang water treatment plant in Zhejiang, China.

” The acquisition, expected to be completed within 90 days, can potentially increase a medium to long-term stable recurring income for Salcon, while enabling us to build a bigger and stronger platform in the market,” it added.
