Managed to accumulate @)0.695 during the last 10 minutes.Shouldn't hv any problem for long-term strategy, due to its strong fundamental & undervalue stock with NTA of 0.81.

Property development is expected to be a significant contribution to the group’s profit from next year onwards (2014 onwards).

However Salcon has not lost its water engineering business. It has submitted bids for rm1.8 billion worth of water based contracts till June 2013. It has tendered for the Langat 2 contract in Selangor is also eyeing water jobs in Sabah and Johor.

It has an outstanding order book of rm350 million.

On the Langat 2 water treatment plant (rm1.2 billion) in Selangor, PPAB has narrowed down the bidders to two finalists, Gamuda Bhd and a JV consisting of MMC Corp Bhd, Salcon Bhd and AZRB. Management has a 30% stake in the JV. This would bring its estimated portion in the job to rm360 million should the JV win the contract.

agree with messi, however, just to be coutious... the share price could be purposes popped up due to the private placement, if the private placement eventually proven to be the original shareholders themselves, the price could gradually slide down to 60+ level, and the original would have let go all their private placement share with a handsome profit of 25%,and at the same time have additional working capital

because the private placement was listed on Monday at 58 sen, it should be all taken up by now, and according to bursa malaysia's regulation, they need to announce within certain days of that transaction, but today is already friday and Salcon still hasn't make any annoucement

9696_88, yes, but the price was pushed before the annoucement of private placement from below 60 to 74, we don't know what is their target price, and also who is the taker, it maybe a new strategic investor or the same old shareholder, if there is an established new investor, the share price may move higher, we don't know. The whole purpose of private placement is to raise working capital for their new project in JB, so, it could also be taken up by the original share holder

tedbeh. V must explore n one step ahead before their official announcement. If wait for their announcement its already too late becos if it happened that either Tan Sri LKS, his son or ex SPSETIA director is confirmed to be the private placement strategic investor, the price of SALCON will escalate n v will missed the boat.

The mkt is still bearish. Yesterday US DJIA dropped 170 points. Today another blood bath is expected in our KLCI. Always bear in mind that Cash Is King during uncertainties, n when the BEAR is slaughtered by the BULL, a lot of Mega Sales around for u to select at a steep discount.
