Coolinvestor, margin given to plantations is quite high which is 90-100%, ... And you won't get margin call if the stock is going up. Cepat is up trending...

1 thing i feel weird is why on earth they want to buy 6 "high-end residential property" in Damansara Heights (worth RM7 million each) in 2015.
not to mention they have 4 unit of "8 storey apartment condo" in Sandakan.

what is the use of such properties for a plantation company??

The high end property is so that the directors and relatives have a rent free place to stay when they come to KL. They cannot afford to pay for hotel rooms. Better to exploit cepat bank balance to buy these properties.

Its does not sound right or make any sense to spend (RM7M x 6) = RM42 million for so called "high-end residential property" which is totally not related to the business as a plantation company.
And the company is having such massive amount of borrowings.

if u like CPO, there are many other plantation companies trading at around PE 10+
eg.
FAREAST PE 10x
TDM PE 11x
MHC PE 12x
SOP PE 14x
BPLANT PE 14x
KMLOONG PE 14x
