1H17 EPS already 0.17, FY2017 easily EPS 0.30

with a simple PE 10, tp will be RM3
even with a ultra conservative PE5, tp is RM1.5

i calculated eps for 1st half is 6.8 sen, so full year forecast = 13.6
PE = 10 which mean RM 1.36
last time kyy said he target RM 1.35, is that his bro Mr.Kok Onn told him so ?

veli difficult this Gadang... fund managers all got info before us retailers... few days ago I spotted foreign brokers bot my shares at 106.. almost all foreign brokers is buying.. UBS, CSLA, CFSB, Nomura, Citigroup, Macquery (dunno how to spell) all come out... but I still chicken out at last minutes on Gadang son...

I no syndicate la... but it is veli sure now the penggoreng not KYY la, insider. oni insider know about the results. What I am afraid is that they wanna defer the goreng to next quarter and reported slightly better results ... consolidation is a bit too long albeit lower vol... but no matter what I said, I lost to the penggoreng Gadang...

what is more important to construction companies like gadang is not quarter results, is their outstanding order book.. This a normal thing contruction companies can have higher profit because they can do higher profit margin works. "let's hope management is able to bid those tenders upcoming days". Hope is a dangerous thing, but in gadang case it seems likely true. We simply can't give a higher p/e etc 10 for reasons, outstanding order book is not sufficient to sustain growth that gadang used to have in recent years. Although gadang might grab more jobs in future soon, anything could happen. So instead of following quarter results, keep on track gadang order book. Or else you are merely giving your trust on "hope".

You just need to compare other construction companies with Gadang regarding financial results/numbers. You cannot compare Gadang with financial companies regarding P/E, but you can compare Gadang with other construction companies regarding P/E.
