Gadang and DWL will be slowly start moving north. There's not likely to be any sudden jumps like before. It should be a steady ride up the next quarter.

Previously yes, after private placement, the share price shoot up to the historical high. but then plunged due to the bad result.

However, pp sure creates negative impact to share price in short term.

Think from positive side.
The last PP was done on April of 2016. Refer to annual results, FY2016, FY2017 and FY2018 are the best consecutive results to Gadang in the past many years (profit >90m).

The issue price of the Placement Shares shall be determined and fixed by the Board at a later date (“Price Fixing Date”), after the receipt of Bursa Securities’ approval for the Proposed Private Placement.

The Placement Shares will be priced at not more than 10% discount to the 5-day volume weighted average market price (“5D-VWAP”) of Gadang Shares immediately before the Price Fixing Date.

For illustrative purposes, the 5D-VWAP of Gadang Shares up to and including the LPD is RM0.8241 per Gadang Share. Hence, for the purpose of this announcement, the indicative issue price of the Placement Shares is assumed as RM0.75 per Gadang Share, representing a discount of approximately RM0.0741 or 8.99% to the 5D-VWAP of Gadang Shares up to and including the LPD.

Based on the above, they will purposely push down the price so that the price get lower, I don't think they will push up the price within this period of time. Besides, post PP will drop even further, just refer to JAKS.
