Brahim's TCSS la.. Said they will buy BK and put Tabung Haji logo by the BK logo.. So it will win over McD markets.
They claim McD business is not so strong these days due to american owned, many Malaysian starts to boycott.
Also they will revive BK's menu by putting Malaysia foods..

Said also they wanna do halal certification for some Japanese food company.. TCSS

Yes, this quarter result will be bad as well as they have to give discount to MAS for the settlement of the amount owed by MAS and in order to continue to supply to MAS for in flight food catering.

During the interim period, BAC would provide a reduction of 25% of the monthly final bill to MAS, and not compromise on the quality of meals provided.

BAC and MAS have also agreed to the complete and final settlement of the monies withheld by the airline of RM94.03 million. After a deduction of global settlements and other reductions, it would amount to RM37.95 million and be released in two stages. Should the NCA not be entered into on or before March 31, all settlements in the SA shall be deemed null and void.

Meanwhile, Brahim’s said the SA was signed with the intention of easing the tight cash flow of BAC and its own, caused by MAS’ action of withholding payments.

Brahims is offering new bid to MAS. Brahims will not accept the offers too if new contact not profitable. I believe main problem is Brahims foods and beverage suppliers which over charge to Brahims. Main challege is how to offer the best price to MAS will be depend on Brahims suppliers. This counter will depend on the new contact to be sign before end of March. If Mas-->Newcorp manage to find new catering house, then price may further push down and no hope. Newcorp have about 98 active aircrafts. Who else can supply 30,000+ meal daily to Newcorp. The small catering available now only able to supply 5k meals daily. Newcorp not likely to find a replacement in short time. I believe Brahims will still get new contract even Newcorp try to find a new one.

By the way, i still monitoring the price movements not buy in yet. :)
