As for building material companies, if the project still largely involved elevated structures, steel companies such as Ann Joo Resources Bhd would be a key beneficiary, UOB Kay Hian said.

Otherwise, cement companies such as Lafarge Malaysia Bhd, YTL Cement Bhd and Hume Industries Bhd would benefit from sub-structure works, while other players such as Prestar Resources Bhd could benefit from guardrail works as it commands a 50% market share in the local guardrail business.

Tashin is a profitable business unit for Prestar. When Tashin is disposed and listed in ACE market, Prestar's group revenue will be much reduced, albeit Prestar can use the money raised from IPO to pare down its debt and reduce its finance cost.
I view the listing of Tashin is no good for Prestar as a whole..

haha i m sure u commented without look at Tashin IPO prospectus, just to correct u that Tashin is not considered being disposed by Prestar la... Prestar will still holding 34% in Tashin holdings (SPV that holding Tashin). Although there is reduction in shareholding percentage of 17% (from 51% to 34%), but Tashin still contribute profit to prestar just like POSCO-MKPC (prestar's another associate co)... don forget the another purpose of this listing is to unlock and crystallise the value of Prestar investment in Tashin, if u said Tashin is profitable business unit for Prestar (when Tashin's shares fly, same to Prestar).
