Disposed and then acquired back is to get contra gain. With the kind volume, every few sen move is money to them. On top of that funds manager will get commission from the trade too.

UOA will proposed dividend first in Feb together with Q4 result, then seek shareholder approval thereto with dividend reinvestment plan in next AGM, once approve, only will declare date of entitlement in June.

UOA afford to declare more cash dividend as the actual payout is significant less due to its major shareholder keep adopting dividend reinvestment plan, in which cash dividend is translate to more share to indirectly increase its stake. This is because most of the minority shareholder provably like to opt for cash payout instead of more share.

like the last time around, the price will be kept low before the announcement of the divvy reinvestment. this is because shares offered for DRIP will have to be lower than the 'base' price, e.g. last traded or average price.

in any case its not bad opting for this DRIP. you get to own more shares at a dicsounted price and without having to pay any fee. im all for it again.
