During the quarter ended 31 March 2014, the Group has completed the purchase price allocation analysis on the foreign subsidiary which was acquired during the financial year. The distribution network acquired has been separately recognized as intangible asset and is amortized on a straight line basis over its expected useful life of 15 years. The full year amortization of RM1.19 million was reflected in the quarter ended 31 March 2014.

I wanna tell u all wat is the feeling in 2008 when stock market down due to those American Shark job...nothing happen,bussines as usual...factory still operating,no riots,ppl still can get out eat cheaps(maybe that time expensive to ppl dont thanks to God) sate,nasi ayam and nasi briani...

The very disaster for OLDTOWN is when ppl in Malaysia is going insane and riots 24/7 like in Thailand maybe OLDTOWN and even AEON oso tutup kedai loooo...

Prosperities is the most important to the market...even so call cronies counter that linked to Kak Ros,Ah jib,Pok Meh and other name your call need prosperities to generate profit...

But wait is that OLDTOWN cronies counter(link to BN)????...Better u google to find out whose the boss,accountant and the top management ppl...if im not mistaken OLDTOWN link to DAP and if that true wow 5.5people out of 10people in Malaysia must come to OLDTOWN meh(base on 55% of Malaysian vote PAKATAN RAKYAT eventhough DAP not sokong HUDUD,PAS people must come to OLDTOWN to watch World Cup)....

Unlike mamak shops other shops don't fix big screens to show football. Maybe this World Cup they have started doing it. Screens on these shops are so small you can hardly see it from a distance what more the sound

Oldtown announces second license agreement in Indonesia

KUALA LUMPUR (June 20): Oldtown Bhd announced that its unit Kopitiam Asia Pacific is executing a second license agreement in Indonesia with PT Oldtown Indonesia

The café outlet franchisor said that the master license agreement (MLA) will provide PT Oldtown Indonesia with the exclusive right to operate for the rest of the Republic of Indonesia.

It will also grant the company the exclusive right to grant sub-licenses to licensees in the Territory.
The company explained that the MLA will allow the company to expand further into the rest of the Indonesian market.

“The granting of license to the Master Licensee will enable the expansion of a network of outlets in Indonesia,” it said in the announcement.

I alr blacklisted oldtown, went to their outlet in JB Taman Molek,served with chicken rice that still very cold ( meat that din cook well). Poor old town....Worst thing is that the staff din even want say sorry......

same, i used to frequent many outlets, but the service is a big let down, partly bcos they employ many foreigners, not local, and their service is not very good; mamak restaurants provide better service, i only go once in a while only now whenever i crave for white coffee, other than that, i give oldtown a miss

Bought few lots of Oldtown at RM1.99 as the price dropped to attactive level. Strange thing was within a month time, US Franklin Resources accumulated quite a lot of Oldtown share.
