It just needs oil price at 75usd to get its estimated annualised about 19 cents EPS which makes the Maybank IB's TP rm1.7 very reasonable at PE of about 9 . So any oil price above 75usd is a real bonus

Narrative economics dictate that the momentum will probably remain now on the following fronts:
1. Flight away from inflation
2. Flight into commodities
3. Flight from risk assets
4. Flight from losses

Yes, oil stocks are still subject to the universal (financial) laws of discount rates etc but in the case of extreme fear, participants start looking at the least risky assets (borrowings profile, some sustained cashflow generation)

Gold is supposed to work well but JPow just declared a war on gold. so yeah. we gotta watch this space every day!

ya... bunga raya abit slow in respond.... but once respond it'll be super fast.... look at 2013.... Brent from 98-115 took 3 months Jun-Aug but HIBI average stayed still at 1.45..... then it only took 3 wks in Sept shoot up to 2.10...lol
