Oil price super bull now due Natural Gas Crisis where the price of Natural gas soaring to a record high and many north hemisphere countries are about to enter winter and cold weather where gas are the main component for heating. The shortage of natural gas prompted price sky rocketing and start to effect oil price because supplier try to find best replacement to gas which is crude oil.
I am looking for a new bungalow if Sap Hit 90cents...I think almost 1/2 of Sap Investors (ikan Bilis) are trapped between RM2.0--4.0 ) Once it breached above 50cents, it is new TopGlove's brother... Ular what your say?

For me, quite lucky to stuck between RM0.30 range but managed to average down to RM 0.20 last year..Hold sikit saja..if hit RM 1, at least can become my down payment for new house already good enough hahha
KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 27): Bursa Malaysia’s Energy Index rose as much as 19.78 points or 2.78% to 731.32 this morning, becoming the top percentage gainer among bourse gauges, after oil prices hit three-year highs. At 10.19am, the index, which tracks share prices of oil and gas (O&G) related companies, settled at 727.82, still up 16.28 points or 2.29%. KNM Group Bhd, which was the most actively traded stock, gained as much as 2.5 sen or 10.87% to 25.5 sen. At 10.19am, the counter had pared some gains at 25 sen, still up two sen or 8.7%, with 73.69 million shares traded. Meanwhile, Bumi Armada Bhd increased by one sen or 2.27% to 45 sen; Perdana Petroleum Bhd grew half a sen or 4.35% to 12 sen. Reuters reported that oil pushed past its July peaks as global output disruptions forced energy companies to pull large amounts of crude out of inventories, while a shortage of natural gas in Europe pushed costs up across the continent. At the time of writing, Brent crude oil had added US$1.26 to US$79.35 (about RM332) a barrel, while West Texas Intermediate crude was US$1.21 higher at US$75.19. ""Supply tightness continued to draw on inventories across all regions," ANZ Research said in a note quoted by Reuters. Rising gas prices also helped drive oil higher as the liquid became relatively cheaper for power generation, ANZ analysts said in the note.
Why Oil Co. stock price cannot go up (as complaint above ).....Answer:- allocation of IB Fund only 3% left....To jump start SAP, ikan Bilis Must wallop Hard then IB will rush to Manager to raise Fund immediately.......KIASU feelings ( afraid being Left behind )

it's not only about how high but how steady it is. when it remains steady at a certain value more FIDs are made and hence capex will get spent. better for industry for prince to remain at 70-80 than jump up and down
Hope the QR started to show positive, and more and more positive in next QR, to take the share price to where it was few years back...the glorious days for Sapura were during oil hike in 2014-2016...and if oil persistently stay at 60-80 or even higher, certainly more interest in oil exploration and production, so can dream for Sapura to regain its glorious day through good startegy to sell some assets at good price plus good E&P biz...etc...its possible for Sapura to climb back to previous glorious if oil price stay higher in 2-3 years time...
this is one of O&G counter yet to recover significantly...armada already regained its preCOVID...but this one still far from reaching his PreCOVID level...lets hope DAT can bring it up...
I think SAP, "buta-buta" also 10bil Contract in Hand before Covid...At 1 billion revenue per Qr, profit pluck for thin Air also RM 100 mil profit per Qr.
@ronsimmons, yeah, oil need to stabilize and show sustainable oil price at anything USD65 or above...so that E&P biz are much worth the investments, so that Sapura can benefit from this...
If oil price stay more than 70 USD for a long future, I hope Sapura can leverage on this oil hike and regain its glorious days, and reward long term investors...
Anything is possible if oil stay 70-80++, or even 90 USD ++ for a longer period...
I believe the Biggest earner will be Gas from SK408 which / should be 100% operational.... Gas price has jumped 300% from the Date when SAP start slow operation...This Qr(Gas) should register 30--40mil profit ( finger crossed )
Natural gas is at USD 6 just now...it is pulling Brent price up...the highly lauded initiative for transition to green energy, led by US, to some means, it is helping oil price to sustain at much higher price for sometimes to come...huge benefits for E&P upstream players...
My opinion only, anything is possible if oil price sustain 70-80++
The natural gas possibly go much higher due to expected much colder winter weather in US/Europe this coming months...really wonder, if a much colder winter taking place in upcoming months, what strong impact on natural gas, and on oil price...and when that happen...how will Sapura response to this oil hike...
this says it all...the green policy is gonna take oil pricesuper super.....?? due to low investment in the E&P biz....the existing players will go all out to harvest this oil hike....
Are Carbon Taxes To Blame For Europe’s Energy Crisis? By Irina Slav - Sep 27, 2021, 4:00 PM CDT
Europe’s energy crisis was, in part, caused by the desire of governments to make fossil fuels ‘prohibitively expensive’ The common claim that energy can be clean, reliable, and cheap has fallen flat, teaching policymakers a painful lesson The harsh reality about carbon taxes is that they increase the cost of living and likely reduce quality of life
4 days ago, sapura is 2nd most actively traded stock in Klse. Means a lot of ppl start believing in Sprng, but institutional still throwing out big sum of shares. Beware this QR high chance to be in red
just a question, institution throwing at this price, 11.5 sen/12 sen, are they making good profit? I thought big fund too stuck at much higher price like many of us? isn't so?
This book is the result of the author's many years of experience and observation throughout his 26 years in the stockbroking industry. It was written for general public to learn to invest based on facts and not on fantasies or hearsay....
