Please listen to the fact.
I)Our resources worth over rm 7 trillion(natural resources).Based on oil price usd 70 range.
II)Wht our government in listed company worth hundred of billion.
III)Our bank negara reserve worth usd 115 billion.
Iv)The islamic wealth fund conpany also hold hundred of billions worth of shares.
Only people follow LGE say country bankcrupt.After seing fact above,do the country really bankcrupt.Even the PH people making noice why sapura engineer making huge losses.Its impairment which many can be recover back.Just the cash not enough.Even rm 10 billion but can safe tenth of thousand jobs(skillfull and lower end jobs,all which majority malay working for many years).

I)Why country bankcrupt,during dap finish the big events in shah alam ,there hundreds of expensive car in there include bmw,mercedez,volvo,audi and others car worth over 100k per car.All belong to dap members.

EPF 10k withdrawal itu make retiree cannot retired at old age leh. Whats the original purpose of EPF they all semua pun lupa leh. EPF for retirement pakai punya wang leh. Belum retired sudah habis pakai. How to retired ini macam. EPF chief ada cakap ini macam many cannot retire with so little money left in the EPF acct leh. almost half leh. Siapa susah nanti. Gorment juga mau continue to give goodies at the end to sapot the retiree later. Correct?

Dia kata ianya lebih elok untuk wang berbilion-bilion digunakan untuk bantu Rakyat berbanding bantu Sapura.
Tapi kalau Sapura tidak dibantu dengan kemudahan soft loan maka sudah pasti wang pemegang ASB sebanyak RM4 bilion hangus begitu sahaja.
Masalah Sapura pada ketika ini bukan penyelewengan atau salah urus tadbir.
Ianya berlaku sebab bank tak lulus pinjaman modal kerja sebanyak RM2 bilion pada tahun 2019. Lalu lockdown dan penutupan sempadan seluruh dunia dan Malaysia menghalang Sapura untuk menyampaikan kontrak-kontrak sedia ada.
Jika kontrak tidak diusahakan maka Sapura tak terima bayaran dari customer.
Dan jika tak terima bayaran maka Sapura tak mampu bayar vendor dan bayar faedah bank.
Sebelum tahun 2019, aliran masuk wang tunainya (garis biru dalam graf) masih mampu membayar faedah bank (garis hijau) dan vendor sebab ianya
Tetapi ianya sebaliknya bermula tahun 2019 setelah PNB beli kepentingan 40% untuk menjadi pemegang saham terbesar.
Kenapa begini? Maka kena tanya kerajaan PH serta pengerusi PNB masa itu?
Lagi parah ialah kemudahan bank Sapura dibeku pada Oktober 2021 - menyebabkan Sapura tidak mampu lagi beroperasi seperti biasa dan tidak layak lagi untuk membida dan memenangi projek-projek baharu.

Okay, kita bandingkan apa yang akan terjadi sekiranya Sapura dibiarkan lenyap atau diselamatkan.
Sekiranya Sapura MUFLIS:
- Kerugian secara langsung kepada 10.6 juta pelabur ASB adalah sebanyak RM4 bilion
- Kerugian secara tidak langsung kepada PNB, KWSP dan lain-lain tabung simpanan rakyat akibat hutang sebanyak RM10 bilion kepada bank-bank tempatan termasuk Maybank milik 50% PNB adalah lebih tinggi. Jika kerugian hutang RM2.5 bilion akibat Genting HK memberi impak maka ini bakal merupakan kerugian RM10 bilion.
- Hampir 10,000 pekerjaan bergaji tinggi akan hilang.
- Sekitar 4,500 vendor/pembekal akan terjejas -kebanyakannya merupakan syarikat bumiputra.
- aset-aset berharga Sapura bakal dijual dengan harga amat murah (firesale prices) kepada orang asing.
- Malaysia akan kehilangan syarikat perkhidmatan perkhidmatan petroliam terbesar negara bagi sektor paling penting negara.
- Malaysia juga akan kehilangan sebuah syarikat MNC sebab Sapura juga banyak memenang dan mengusahakan projek di lebih 30 negara asing.
Tak untungkan satu sen pun untuk negara. Langsung tak ada manfaat bagi mana-mana pihak.
Cadangan saya ialah untuk Petronas mengambil alih Sapura Energy dari PNB sebab Petronas memang adalah customer dan perlukan perkhidmataan, kepakaran dan aset-aset Sapura.
Petronas juga ada pengalaman yang mendalam bagi sektor oil an gas.
Lebih-lebih lagi Petronas kini dalam mode pelaburan dengan perbelanjaan CAPEX yang naik dari RM30b tahun lepas ke RM50b tahun ini sebab harga minyak dan gas kini amat tinggi berbanding sejarah.
Jika tak guna Sapura maka kontrak Petronas mungkin diberi kepada syarikat-syarikat asing.
Dan pada ketika ini di mana harga minyak dan gas melambung tinggi inilah di mana peluang di seluruh dunia bagi syarikat perkhidmatan oil dan gas adalah paling cerah.

I am sorry to say this but i side with Najib! If Saprng can be savaged, then PNB will not lose out their 4 billion investment which was made by Harapan administration!
I blame Harapan administration! Why did they allow Mahathir proxy to use PNB and invest in Saprng in the first place! And PNB didn't do their homework!
My biggest investment mistake was believing Saprng turnover story! It turn out to be turn over story!
Anyway, if Saprng indeed can be saved, why not! And profit from this exercise is what bailout is all about!

PNB ada alot of fund can inject je. Why need petronas to help. Get more professional to join sapnrg lah. Bukan PNB cannot afford lah. Nak jadi major shareholder 40% then must accept responsibility to save sapnrg ownself lah. Else how to answer to ASB unit holders ini macam. PNB takda professional ini if need another GLC to help lah. Very memalukan if it happen lah. History will be there for everyone to bad mouth it later. Tak kan PNB want it to happen right. Correct?

PNB own Tiger Bank. Ask maybank give more loan to sapnrg bukan susah sangat. Why Tiger bank close the tap. Why Cimb RHB also close the tap. Buka tap and fund more lah. Last time can fund up to 16bil loan. After PNB bailout Sapnrg with RI managed to reduced the loan to 10bil. Still can loan more lah. Sapnrg ada alot of good asset as Bossku cakap one lah. Why bank tak mau give more loan after see sapnrg ada alot of good asset kah. Why Why Why. Banks also need GLC to save them kah. Sound like very complicated leh. Macam only Petronas cash rich can save all the parties involved leh. Petronas save PNB save local banks save many shareholders save sapnrg assets from kena lelong cheap cheap. The Lumut yard had been shut down about five times. All in all, including the first MCO (March 2020), it was roughly around 5½ months [of shutdown] in total. The last reopening, we could only operate at 60% [capacity]. With Petronas taking over this facilities can perhaps be used to serve other O&G Companies. With prevailing High Brent prices, Petronas should have the capital to acquire this facility..

Better for the King to stay in his cave. He has done enough damages.

The only things that need to be changed is to fire all these expensive directors and replace with more visionary leader like Tony Fernandez who knows how to do business as they have failed to deliver.

Same thing happen to our neighbour SembCorp Marine in Spore juga. Pandemic happen the Spore listed company also become like Sapnrg juga. Temasek the major shareholder juga pump more money into the company twice and even offer to take private but remained listed company. PNB tak kan cannot do that also with 300bil Fund own. PNB can help Sapnrg to stay afloat if they have the responsibility to help Bumi companies if want lah. Bukan PNB cannot afford to do it like Temasek is helping SembCorp Marine. Correct?

Let me explain what Buffett means:

Everyone looks like a genius who knows how to invest when the market is going UP. Sometimes, this can even last for years!

However, it’s only when the market is DOWN that we can see who has been taking excessive risk and not protecting their portfolio.

FGV, Icon Offshores were on the same boat. Both of them has already making a big turnaround thanks to the prevailing Oil and Palm Oil Prices. Unfortunately Sapnrg did not manage to capitalise on this tail winds. This means there has been a lot of damages has been done over the years.

Like Mabel said, if Tony can do so can Sapnrg...
