This is not ikad or niise ctr. This is renewal contract for 270mil thru direct negotiation.

We have yet to know ikad and niise coz were thru via tendering.

The Company had made an announcement on 15 December 2015 for the supply of the Malaysian Passport Chips for a period of five (5) years or 12.5 million of Passport Chips (“Contract”) commencing from 1 December 2016 to 30 November 2021 for a contract sum of RM318,750,000.00.



The Board of Directors of Datasonic wishes to announce that DTSB has on 31 January 2020 received and accepted the Letter of Change of Scope (“LOCS”) dated 23 January 2020 from KDN in respect of the Contract with no change to the contract sum of RM318,750,000.00.



Under the LOCS, the total quantity of Passport Chips to be supplied would be reduced from 12.5 million chips to 11 million chips, amounting to RM280,500,000.00 and a new scope of works would be included for the maintenance services for hardware and software of Autogate and Chips and the maintenance services for equipment and application of Public Key Infrastructure and Public Key Directory, amounting to RM38,250,000.00.

couple months till now the theme is healthcare and tech, rest come after that

any news out that can raise sentiment, stock will not hard to limit up, especially penny stock, even with -ve earnings

when -ve earnings stock limit up, of course its not abt FA anymore, its about price and volume

to play price and volume, you need to “see” vol movement as close as possible, this only applicable to full time trader or those have time to see chart many hours a day

if you are not capable of doing that, just ignore what you have missed (bcoz you cannot monitor breakout), so stick to your game plan which is medium to long term trader that focus on FA growth

The High Court was told today that the Home Ministry was directed by then deputy prime minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi to use the passport chips of Datasonic Technologies Sdn Bhd (DTSB), a company owned by his friend, for Malaysian passports.

Former secretary of the ministry’s Procurement Division, Abd Aziz Md Nor, 62, said the directive was in the minutes written by Ahmad Zahid in a letter which was sent to the ministry.

Abd Aziz also identified the letter with the title “Application to begin supply of passport chips together with in-lay to Percetakan Keselamatan Nasional Sdn Bhd (PKN) during the transition period of the existing contract for six months from June 1 to Nov 30, 2016, for Malaysian international passports”.

Asked by deputy public prosecutor Gan Peng Kun to read out the minutes during examination-in-chief, the witness said: “Dato’ Sri KSU (secretary-general), please review the previous decision. Use the chips of this company before studying the contract extension of PKN.”
