Better u shift other stock like amanah raya reit or pavreit.klcc now reached target price at rm7.50. I play klcc since the price at rm5.50..

im just waiting to see the 1st quarter dividend from KLCC before shifting to other reit players....but most of the reit giving 5-7% dividend, lets see what KLCC can offer to us....

I agree with you, plus they might be injecting the reit with Suria KLCC in the near future. It would be nice to get a healthy 7% dividend from this counter in a year or two.

agreed ryanboleh. i doubt 7% is doable unless that fat, juicy suria klcc is included. in addition. they're doing a 900m renovation of dayabumi. so there won't be much money for dividends for awhile, unless they borrow for it.

i'm sure its got more upside. i just think, that at this point, with the massive gap that needs to close in the KLCI, it might be prudent to wait until that happens before diving back in. i'm not sure what event is going to cause that to happen, but it will happen.

i don't know, but we are in a bull market, and this sort of crap shouldn't be happening, especially to a "branded" stock, such as this. the way the price moves and volume make me uncomfortable. but there is no reason why it won't rise given time. it is real estate after all.

@deadman. yup. thats exactly what went through my mind. this kind of volatility is highly unusual for a REIT type investment. in fact, it is probably the most volatile stock on the exchange right now. thats why i booked my profit @ 7.13 (on monday) and walked away. that money is heading to AXREIT

you're probably right. rental might be affected from Dayabumi refurbishment, no Suria KLCC rental included in div payout and Petronas & Maxis locked into fixed, long term lease agreements. little scope for appreciation. the speculators made the most money here i think.

Most PSCs have been persuaded to move to Tower 3, all on long term lease. They have a monopoly on oil company tenants in KL. At RM6.80, this is tempting.
