but how long can you sustain by selling land? land is your asset, not your primary business. if commodity price dun recover, the earnings in the long term will be severely affected. the gains from disposing land wont be able to cushion it for long. maybe can make it look nice by offering 5 cents dividends, but can the same be repeated every quarter?
Surely. With CPO up and some land at good location sold, you will enjoy the fruit . Even quarry land can sell for more than 200 thousand per acre, what about land at developing area like semenyih. They have land bank more than 170000 acres.

Agree pick up 1.36 yesterday.Already can see sign of unlocking its land asset value like Sime Darby used to do with uep land yrs ago
