Unlike most plantation stocks in Malaysia. BPLANT has a unique selling point - strategic land banks with property development potential in West Coast Malaysia. We should not undermine its INTRINSIC value based solely on upstream plantation market.
Maybank is the joint bookrunner. Maybe their guess/info are more accurate? I know that the land in semenyih near nottingham uni will be develop as there wont be any replanting programme
None of the Principal Officers have sold when BPlant recently traded at 1.56-1.59 showed the intrinsic value of this counter. I am less bullish than Maybank IB's 2.16TP and would be happy if it hits 1.92 within 6 months!
lepas keep stirring sell sentiments at 1.60, i think he has happily accumulated alot. that's why stay calm and dun trust every comment you read here. especially those people who repeatedly stir news, sure got self gained motives
i feel maybank fair value 2.16 is too optimistic. end of the day, Bplant is still a plantation company. and any land sale to Boustead for property development may be at discount (not market value). Boustead also want to untung.
This book is the result of the author's many years of experience and observation throughout his 26 years in the stockbroking industry. It was written for general public to learn to invest based on facts and not on fantasies or hearsay....
