Actually the low yield of Soy and CPO n labour issues are the reason why CPO price is high now. Kindly note, for higher production, u still need to incur production cost. But higher price will directly contribute to the profit margin.

For CPO exposure, better opt for Boustead plantation. It is major target from its control. Boustead holding to unlock its assets by either

1. Privatise boustead planation
2. Divest boustead plantation alike ijm plantation
3. Partial sell palm estate

LTAT should at first place privatise boustead planation instead of privatise boustead holding. These is because privatize it's holding without take over its subsidiary is waste of corporate exercise.

Sizeable plantation Estate is hard to find now for ioi Corp to growth. Furthermore, no many wiling to sell their prime estate at current windfall CPO price, but, bstead holding force to do that in order to pare down its borrowing

Yup. instead of en block sale of BPlant. More profitable to dispose of their Sabah estate to IOI. Avoid any controversial arguments and get good returns. Sabah estates fit nicely into IOI profile and their refinery

@Yippy68.yes the price of the land there now skyroof due to airport land purchase.there is also a few development project plan in the area.the oil palm also expected to remain high. all are positive factor
